Photos of the 'Blood Moon' lunar eclipse as seen in UK and Nigeria on 27th September, 2015

The long awaited complete Lunar eclipse called "Blood moon" or Supermoon and which occurs once in a generation occurred between yesterday night and very early hours of today in and was seen in different parts of the world. The next of this kind will not occur again (according to astronomy) till 2033. The last Blood Moon before the one of yesterday was seen last in 1982.
Supermoons occur when the moon reaches its full phase at or near the satellite's closest approach to Earth, and appears abnormally large and bright as a result. The Sept. 27 event is quite special; the last supermoon eclipse occurred in 1982, and the next won't take place until 2033.

Photos and recap of last night's dinner hosted by US president for Chinese President and big business people

A powerhouse line-up of diplomacy, big business and even Hollywood made President Obama's guest list for tonight's state dinner to honor the visit of Chinese president Xi Jinping (Presidents pictured with respective wives Michelle and Peng Liyuan)
Last night, President Obama threw a glitzy state dinner for Chinese president Xi Jinping at the White House.
Black-tie affair was attended by Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg and Apple CEO Tim Cook who sat at the top table.
Michelle Obama dazzled in black off-the-shoulder mermaid gown made by Chinese-American designer Vera Wang.
She was also on hand to straighten Barack's bow tie just before Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan arrived on Friday night.
Guests dined on wild mushroom soup, Maine lobster, Colorado lamb and poppyseed bread-and-butter pudding.
The extravagant dinner was followed by a special performance from R&B singer Ne-Yo.

Mr Zuckerberg was one of the first to arrive, walking hand-in-hand with his pregnant wife Priscilla, who beamed as she entered the White House lobby in a scoop-back red lace floor-length number.
Others spotted in attendance included former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger, 92, and 78-year-old Madeleine Albright. Philanthropist David Rubenstein was also there, as was ballerina Misty Copeland, who giggled and said, 'I have no idea,' when reporters asked who she was wearing.
Meanwhile Michelle Obama - who wore a $2,300 dress to meet the Pope this week - diplomatically opted for a black, off-the-shoulder mermaid gown created by Chinese-American designer Vera Wang.
Fitted, with sheer sleeves, it skimmed the floor with its tulle flounce as Mrs Obama swept her long hair off to one side.

Jeremy Corbyn claimed the 9/11 attacks were 'manipulated' by the West so it could go to war in Afghanistan in an article he wrote 12 years ago, it has emerged today.
The Labour leader made the assertions in a number of written pieces where he criticised Tony Blair and George W Bush for using the September 11 attacks in New York to go to war.
He claims Osama bin Laden was made to look responsible to facilitate their aims and seemed to endorse conspiracy theories about a 'New World Order'.

In the 2003 piece for The Morning Star, he wrote: 'Historians will study with interest the news manipulation of the past 18 months, The Telegraph reports.
'After September 11, the claims that bin Laden and al-Qaida had committed the atrocity were quickly and loudly made.

Prince George appeared in the very same romper suit as his father wore in balcony scene with Prince Charles in 1984 for celebration of the Queen's birthday

Like father, like son.

Prince George made his debut on the balcony of Buckingham Palace wearing exactly the same baby-blue romper suit his dad, Prince William, wore during his first appearance 31 years ago.

Charming pictures from then and now also show how an excited Prince William, then aged two, reacted in the same excited way as his own son to the Trooping of the Colours, which marks the Queen's birthday.

History repeated itself on Saturday when Prince George wore the same baby blue romper suit as Prince William did back at the Trooping of the Colours in 1984

Prince William was a toddler in his dad Prince Charles' arms when he wore the same baby-blue romper suit

The proud dad held his son and chatted to him throughout the event, as Prince Charles did to him back in 1984 - both wearing red tunics having ridden on horseback during the earlier parade.
And while it was Diana 31 years ago - then pregnant with Prince Harry - who shared the balcony with Charles, on Saturday it was Kate, who has made her first appearance after giving birth to Princess Charlotte. There was no sign of the young princess.

Prince George, who turns two next month, has the same light blond hair as his dad and wore the same blue romper suit with a white frill and buttons as William.

Four generations of the Royal Family appeared together on the balcony for the celebrations.

The Queen's actual birthday was on April 21, when she turned 89. However, her official birthday is always celebrated nationally on the second Saturday in June when the weather is usually reckoned to be more predictable.

The parade began at Buckingham Palace before moving through Horse Guards Parade, The Mall and Admiralty Arch to mark the Queen's official birthday.

The monarch, who turned 89 this year, was taken past cheering crowds in a horse-drawn carriage alongside husband Prince Philip, wearing full bearskin hat and accompanying red tunic which he is entitled to wear as he is Colonel of the Grenadier Guards.

Prince Harry was also pictured dressed in the uniform of the Household Cavalry, where he remains a Commissioned Officer, having quite active service at the end of last month.

More pictures below

As well as a mirror between the two young boys, Charles and Diana were pictured together in near-identical poses in 1984 to William and Kate on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on Saturday

Beyonce sued for $7 million by former backup singer who claims she stole her hit song XO from him

Beyonce Knowles has been accused of stealing her hit song, XO, from a background singer.

That singer, Ahmad Lane, has now sued 33-year-old Beyonce and wants $7 million in damages, according to documents published Saturday by Radar Online.

In the ongoing case, Beyonce's lawyers have been working to dismiss the lawsuit, saying Ahmad's claims are 'vague and cryptic.'

Ahmad has alleged that he was the original writer of the song, which he titled XOXO.

In the court documents, Beyonce's lawyers did not agree to any of this and insisted that a singer with '17 Grammy Awards and 118 million records sold' did not need to rip off someone else's property.

Documents dated June 4 pointed out that 'the two works at issue are entirely different songs that share no lyrical or musical similarity, other than perhaps the letters X and O.'

Prior to Beyonce's release of her tune, XO, in late 2013, Ahmad said he gave a copy of XOXO to another background singer, Chrissy Collins.

She is then alleged to have passed on the song to Beyonce, who released it as the first single to her eponymous fifth studio album.

The court papers filed by Beyonce's attorneys further insisted that Ahmad's song and Beyonce's do not share 'melodic content and there is no meaningful similarity in pitch series, rhythm or rhythmic patterns, melodic development or structure.'

A final point made compared the lyrics of XOXO and XO, saying that the former focused on 'wanting to love every inch of the lover's body,' while the latter emphasized spending time with a loved one 'before our time has run out.'

Filed in the United States District Court's Southern District of New York, the 59 pages of legal documents asked a judge to dismiss the suit altogether.

Released on December 16, 2013, XO was the first single (of five) from Beyonce - an album that eventually sold 5 million copies.

It was officially co-written and co-produced by Ryan Tedder, Terius 'The Dream' Nash, and Beyonce.

Grave error: Man, 46, who was mistakenly pronounced dead starts breathing and moves his limbs on the way to morgue

A Wisconsin man who was pronounced dead by paramedics after collapsing at his Milwaukee apartment began to move his limbs and breathe just before he was going to be taken to the morgue.

Thomas Sancomb's girlfriend had not been able to reach him for two days so she called police Tuesday asking for an officer to check on him at his home in a high-rise building.

The officer called 911 and paramedics from the Milwaukee Fire Department arrived and found Sancomb 'cold to the touch and in rigor' and did not attempt to resuscitate him, the report said.

Sancomb was pronounced dead at 2.10pm at the apartment, forensic investigator Genevieve Penn wrote in the report.

Penn then called Sancomb's brother, John Sancomb, to inform him of the death and an autopsy to determine the cause of death was requested.

A transport team arrived to take the body to the morgue, but at about 3pm Sancomb had some 'spontaneous respirations' and began moving his left arm and right leg,

No pulse was evident, but Penn summoned paramedics back to the apartment and called the family.

Sancomb's pulse returned and he was taken to Columbia St. Mary's Hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.

His diagnosis at the hospital was redacted from the report.

A fire department officer entered the 46-year-old's apartment with the building manager and found the man collapsed at the end of his bed, according to the heavily redacted report from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner.

Assistant Chief Gerard Washington said: 'We're doing an internal investigation to make sure that everything we did followed protocol.

'It's an active investigation, so I can't comment in detail.'

Hospital spokesman Evan Solochek said no information could be disclosed because of federal privacy laws.

Sancomb's brother told the medical examiner that his sibling had a drink and a cigar every once in a while but did not use street drugs.

He told The Associated Press that his brother is improving every day and was concerned he wasn't walking well when he last saw him two weeks ago.

'Thomas' health is the most important thing we're focusing on right now,' he said, declining to talk further about the incident.

The medical examiner's office declined to comment on the case.

The Milwaukee Police Department only said officers responded to a welfare check and found the man unresponsive in a bedroom.

Milwaukee Fire Department Lt Mark Stanmeyer referred questions to fire officials, who rejected a request to speak to the lieutenant who responded to the apartment.

Do we call this a miracle or he wasn't dead at all?..Good for him though

This grass only grows where diamond is!

The grass pictured above is said to grow only where diamonds exist. The plant, Pandanus candelabrum, is found to enjoy soil rich in kimberlite a type of igneous rock associated with diamonds underground. The thorny and palm-like plant in mainly found in West Africa could soon become a diamond hunter’s best friend.
That’s because the plant seems to grow only over rock that may contain the precious stones, scientists have discovered.

Maweather: First picture after "Fight of the century". calls Pacquioa

Above is Floyd Mayweather Jnr. pictured with his longtime friend P-Reala. This is the first picture he has released since after the "Fight of the century" in Las Vegas on Sunday where he defeated Manny Pacquiao to maintain his undefeated status. Mayweather now has fought 48 pro boxing fights and lost none.
Even with his undefeated status, many people keep booing him mainly because of what is perceived as an arrogant lifestyle he leads. In an instagram post, the Money man sent a clear message to Pacquiao calling him a looser.

Lovely... Man made guitar-shaped forest for his wife

This is one of the most lovely pictures captured from space by Google Earth. It is a forest in Argentina that looks exactly like a guitar. A farmer made it to show the love he had for his wife who loved guitars. But unfortunately she didn't live to see it. He planted 7,000 trees to create the marvel. See the picture below and more amazing pictures from space.

Pacquaio's fans praise him after loosing while Mayweather is booed

Many Pacquiao, the Mexican champion who on Sunday lost to American champion Floyd Mayweather has been receiving accolades from his fans even after he lost by a small margin by unanimous decisions of the judges at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mayweather who is popular for his flamboyant lifestyle and not giving a damn about what people say has no doubt made a lot of foes out there. He is still being lashed on for saying he is greater than Muhammed Ali (even Mike Tyson scolded him). More lashes are pouring in from people around the world, most of who believe Manny Pacquiao deserved to win Sunday's fight instead of the "Money man". See what fans of the two fighters are saying below. It all comes down to one thing: Pacquiao is the man of the people.

Airport holdup: Private jet owners find it difficult to leave Las Vegas because of lack of space

The private jet terminal at Las Vegas' McCarren International Airport was packed Saturday night right before the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao
When billionaires who all fly into a city with their private jets, the airport surfers! This is the best words that I can use to describe what you see above. Yesterday's "Fight ofthe Century" between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Junior attracted many superstars, millionaires and billionaires to Las Vegas. and the result was a jam-packed airport in the Sin city. Not packed with cars but private jets. Among the multimillionaires that studded the $400 million fight were Donald Trump, JayZ and wife Beyounce, Justin Beiber, Mark Wahlberg and many others too numerous to mention.
