 Popular Imo State University Graduate, Favour a.k.a Okorononi is celebrating his pretty girlfriend today for the world to see how proud he is to have her in his life.
The popular (and rich) ex-student of IMSU met his heartthrob, Nkemjika Lucky Frank of Microbiology department, while he was a student in the institution and their love keeps growing deeper and higher.

Report has it that the Imo state university students living in the front gate area have not had electricity supply for the past 6months.
They took to the street to protest and seek for intervention. Their placards read "Give us light @ IMSU FRONT GATE NOW" etc

IMSU 2017/2018 Post UTME Application.

Candidates who chose Imo State University Owerri as First Choice
University in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are hereby
invited to apply for an aptitude test, provided such candidates scored a minimum of 180 in
their UTME. Those who did not choose IMSU as First Choice University but scored a
minimum of 180 in their UTME can also apply.
Application commences on Tuesday , September 5th, 2017....

IMSU Vice Chancellor's son to be buried today

 Today, September 2, 2017, the remains of Mr Nnamdi Nnanna Obasi,  the late son of Imo State University's​ VC Prof. Victoria Obasi, will be laid to rest at his home town in Isu, Imo State.
He was born in 1985 and died 13th August 2017 from what was reported as surgery complications which developed after he was operated on for the treatment of Appendicitis. He was a husband, father, son and brother.
May his soul rest in peace.

Nigeria music industry is very crowded that's for sure... especially by the male folk. So standing out as a female in the midst of the teeming competition is no small feat. Then when you stand out, getting the attention of music legends who rule the industry is another Everest to climb.
Lady G (born Cynthia Uchechi Anyiam) is a new rave in the country. Blogs are talking about her, social media is abuzz with the name. All the focus is on the new Nigerian music next queen who was handpicked by 2Face (2baba) Idibia from an Imo state talent hunt event that held in Owerri in April 2017 and which was powered by the Imo state government.
After performing alongside other talented Imo State artistes who were at the event, many of whom started music long before her, Lady G was picked as the judges favorite for her unique and crowd-wowing performance.
On 16th August, Lady G was handed over to legendary Nigeria musician, 2baba, in a 20 Million Naira deal to put his weight in taking Lady G to become the next BIG artiste in Nigeria.

Late Son of IMSU VC, Nnamdi Obasi got married two years ago and here is the cause of his death

Yesterday, August 14th, the news of the death of the second son of the Acting Vice Chancellor (Prof. Mrs Adaobi Obasi) of Imo State University, Nnamdi Obasi sent shock waves over the Internet. More chilling reports that have surfaced shows that the man who was in his mid years got married two years ago and was with his wife at the launch of Elfreeda foundation in Owerri on August 12th but told his friends that he was suffering from appendicitis and was scared of being operated on here in Nigeria.
Later that night, the pains became unbearable and he had to be rushed to a hospital in Orlu in Imo State. He was operated on but later died of internal bleeding.
May his soul continue to rest well.

Imo State University Vice Chancellor Loses Son

In a very sad development, the acting Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, Professor Adaobi Obasi has lost her second son, Mr Nnamdi Obasi to the chilling hands of death.
According to information reaching, Nnamdi  was hale and hearty as recently as Friday last week.
May his soul rest in peace.

A female graduate of Imo State University Owerri and  NYSC corps member who was among those who recently passed out of camp has died. learnt that the lady who goes by the name Zizy Mild on facebook but who most friends call Chizzy was posted to Jos, Plateau State for her one year compulsory post- graduate service. After successfully passing out of camp she was said to have gone down with pneumonia and she died in Imo state yesterday, June 20th 2017.
Further investigation by reveals that Chizzy was among the 2016 graduates of Microbiology department in Faculty of Science Imo State University Owerri.

IMSU Graduate Killed in Accident Just Months Before Going For NYSC

A female graduate of Imo State University who was due to serve in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has been killed in an accident. gathered that the lady Miss Chioma Augusta Abanobi, died from injury she sustained  when she was hit by a car and her head hit a pillar. Efforts to save her proved abortive and she died as a result of her injury.  Gistgate also gathered that the lady was preparing to go to NYSC in Stream 2 of 2017 Batch A

The Imo State University Law faculty has received full accreditation by the Nigerian Universities Council, NUC. By this the IMSU law faculty can now admit new students from this year, 2017.
The IMSU law faculty has been struggling to get NUC accreditation since 2012.
