Earlier in the week, another suspected cult member escaped death by whiskers when he was shot in the Aladinma Students Alliance area by rival cult members. It is believed that Wilson was killed in a retaliatory attack.
Posts by his friends and family members on his Facebook wall indicated that Jboy was loved and has been away in Lagos since last year but returned to Owerri and met with untimely death.
He studied History and International studies and graduated in 2014. He was also a former president of Ayo Kings hostel, Bishop's court.
Cult activities are no longer uncommon around Imo State University where the students live off campus because the school is non residential and the university does not provide security for the students outside the university. This, coupled with the exorbitant house rents that hostel owners charge per room, are among the many plights of the students.
Various cult factions see the different student areas that include Okwu-Uratta, Aladinma, Bishop's court, Front gate and Orji as their respective domains. From time to time, especially during examinations (especially degree exams), the unending feuds between the cults are rekindled and result in killings and retaliatory killings.

To those who are planning to join one cult group or another, no matter what they tell you, it takes just one bullet and everything that have been invested in you and everything that you could have become in life will be over.
