Book Haram attack Maiduguri again, 24 hours curfew set

Members of boko haram sect yesterday evening attacked Maiduguri, Borno state after some weeks of relative peace in the Borno state capital which had been their stronghold before the military accelerated attacks on the deadly sect.

Reports have it that the sect members entered the town via an area known as "Cashew Plantain" which is behind Giwa Barracks, housing the 7th Division of the Army. Occupants of the area said they were taken unawares as the sect members stormed their community, shooting indiscriminately and made everyone to scamper for safety. Nigerian troops are reportedly engaged them in heavy battle.
The military has imposed a 24 hours curfew on the state capital to secure lives while they fight off the new onslaught.

God save Nigeria.
